Today is the one-year anniversary…

During the '07 Playoffs, As I read through a couple of posts and scrolled through a game thread on "Golden State of Mind," my craving for a Jazz site like GSoM increased, second by second.

Before SLC Dunk, there were maybe only one or two places to go for Jazz discussion. Without naming names, these sites were places where intelligence and rational thinking were avoided like the plague, and every opinion-based post is barraged with "Your an idiot, and you’re mother’s an idiot" responses. I’m not sure which is worse—reading a site filled with other teams’ trolls, or reading a site filled with your own team's trolls.

Anyway, this site and its smart, funny, non-trolly members have been a godsend to me, and I’m sorry if I’m personally responsible for such a high percentage of the allotted bandwidth usage, if indeed there is a limit.
